Delivery Information

 

We manufacture all items to order here in the midlands, if you would like to arrange a specific day of delivery or have a time critical order contact us and we can advise and arrange this for you.

Solid wood (oak, pine, walnut) skirting boards, architrave, beading and blocks have a 2-3 week lead time based on the availability of material. This lead time will still apply if fast delivery is selected.

Shipping Options

Standard Delivery  – 4-7  working day delivery time from dispatch.

Fast Delivery  – Next working day delivery from dispatch where possible on orders placed before 12 eta 2-3 working days. 

Collect From Our Leicester Store – Collect your order from our store in Queniborough Leicester. You will need to either email or call us to arrange a collection slot. We will contact you If we have had no prior communication when your order is ready to collect. Please ensure your vehicle is able to hand the size and weight of your order.

Please note our working days are Monday to Friday.

Shipping costs are calculated on orders through the website before purchasing, this is done on the check out page and all available options will show when the delivery details are added. Often multiple items will be packaged together where safe and possible to keep shipping costs minimal. On larger orders we may advise or switch delivery to palletised delivery.

During busy periods additional drivers maybe sent out on weekends. Any weekend deliveries during these periods will be notified in advance, weekend deliveries are not to be classed as working days and are not offered as a request. 


Parcel Deliveries (Smaller items: adhesive, plugs, plinth blocks & rosettes etc.)

Tracking Numbers for orders are usually sent via email. If you don’t receive your tracking details by email feel free to get in touch with us and we will happily provide it for you. Tracking details of collected items are updated around 7pm on the day of collection and will update on the day of delivery before 10pm.

We use DPD predominantly but on some occasions Parcel Force or TNT may be used, on these occasions you will be informed of the alternative courier being used.

DPD

Deliveries made in parcels are usually sent via DPD and any associated subsiduaries across Europe. Tracking details are available for all parcel orders and will provide an hour time slot on the day of delivery. Orders can be tracked using the website www.dpd.co.uk. Tracking details of collected items are updated around 7pm as collected and will update on the day of delivery before 10pm.

Missed or Refused Deliverys

Deliveries which have been missed at pre-arranged times or after multiple attempts and have been returned to us will be subject to additional charges to allow the order to be sent out again for re-delivery.


Larger Item Deliveries (skirting boards, architrave, window boards, panel boards etc.)

With larger items, these will be sent via our in-house delivery team. For our in house courier team, you will be directly contacted by ourselves, usually 24-48 hours before the delivery. On the day of delivery, a 2 hour time slot will be available. Please ensure someone is available to take collection between 8:30 – 5:30 on this day.

Deliveries are to the outside of your property and not into, this is due to insurance purposes. We recommend you have the required help available to move your order safely into your premise on the pre-arranged day.

Missed or Refused Deliveries

If you miss your delivery you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery with larger items, this is charged at our Flat Rate shipping cost of £24.60.

Deliveries which have been missed at pre-arranged times or after multiple attempts and have been returned to us will be subject to additional charges to allow the order to be sent out again for re-delivery.

Cancelling an Order After The Order Has Been Picked Up By The Courier or Refusing an Order On Delivery. 

Orders cancelled after they have been picked up by the courier or are refused on delivery are charged at the full cost of the shipping for the order to be returned back to us.


Packaging

We package your order in a way that provides safe and sustainable transit. Our cardboard boxes, dividers and protective plastic covers are all 100% recyclable.

For palletised items we may add additional cardboard to ensure the order is fully protected. These are also recyclable and should be disposed of appropriatly. Most smaller companies and industrial estates will happily take your used wooden pallet off you and reuse it. You can also check for local pallet recycling schemes and incentives.

Before disposing of packaging please check your purchase as returns often require the product to be returned in the original packaging.
